The newly sworn in Governor of Ekiti State, Dr. Peter Ayodele Fayose has said he would appoint Special Adviser, on Stomach Infrastructure to shame those who have attributed the overwhelming support giving to him at the June 21 governorship election to stomach infrastructure.

Fayose made this disclosure in his inaugural speech after being sworn by the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Hon. Justice Ayodeji Daramola, an event that took place at Oluyemi kayode Stadium in Ado Ekiti, where dignitaries across the country were present to celebrate with the new governor of Ekiti State and his deputy, Dr. Olusola Olubunmi Kolapo.

According to the new Governor, the swearing-in ceremony, is the second time of his oath taking as the Governor of Ekit State.

His words: “You will recall that I took the first oath of office on may 29 2003 as the flag bearer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), after defeating the then incumbent governor and his party, the Alliance for democracy (AD), that mandate was truncated three and half years later through my unjust and forceful removal…..Today marks the eight anniversary of the dark episode, also today October 16 2014 marks epoch of my inauguration as the governor the second time”.

Fayose thanked the people of Ekiti State for trusting him with the mandate once again as he promised to reciprocate them with people oriented programme which he started in 2003, he further promised to rekindle hope and restore the self confidence that he is known for so that every Ekiti person shall be assisted to pursue and realize his or her aspiration.

After the swearing-in ceremony, Fayose asked the crowd of supporters at the stadium to join him in the new Government House and if possible take a place to rest for the night.
