A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, Asiwaju Rotimi Ajanaku has said that contrary to insinuations, he does not belong to any of the factions of APC in the state.
Ajanaku made the clarification in a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday, saying he is not a member of any of the three factions of APC in Oyo State.
He said that he remains a bonafide APC member, adding that he will not support any move to factionalize the party.
The party chieftain who noted that he is still in politics insisted that what is important to him now is youth empowerment.
He, however, wished all the party chieftains well as they continue to find ways of reconciling party members in the state.
Ajanaku said, “I don’t belong to any faction of APC. I am a party man and I will not support any move to factionalize the party. I am still in politics but my major focus now is to empower our teeming youths.
“Let me tell you that I am still in politics but I want to concentrate on my business just like what Chief Bayo Adelabu, APC gubernatorial candidate in 2019 said about me recently in Ibadan. Adelabu confirmed that I am a politician that has a second address. Most of our politicians do not have a second address.”
