Kaduna state Governor, Mukhtar Ramalan Yero, has said he is matured man that cannot be termed as anybody’s errand boy or controlled by anybody, including the Vice President, Architect Namadi Sambo.

He made the assertion in Kaduna at the weekend, while debunking   the allegation that he is boy to Vice President and not capable of taking decisions for himself.

Yero, who was addressing the People Democratic Party (PDP) delegates from the 23 local government areas, political appointees as well as party chieftains from the state, who came to express their support and backing for President Goodluck Jonathan/ Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo ticket ahead of the 2015 general elections, said he is independent from anybody, even though he seeks advice from some people but that the final decision is taken by him.

“I  have to say to  you all present here that this man standing before you today is not anybody’s errand boy  but  a person destined by God to be at the helm of the affairs of Kaduna state; and let nobody be deceived, I take every step that is for the betterment of all.

“I am aware that some people are going around calling themselves Yakowa’ boys  because they were in the administration of our late Governor; ordinary,  it would have bothered me but some are going to

the level saying only Yakowa boy will be governor comes 2015. Let me inform you that I was a Commissioner in the in the same Government that the late governor was Secretary; by Allah’s making I became his Deputy; so who is more of a Yakowa boy?,” Yero said.

Meanwhile the delegates and stakeholder endorsed the candidature of Governor, Alhaji Mukhtar Ramalan Yero and his Deputy, Ambassador Audu Nuhu Bajoga in the state.

The town hall meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stakeholders held at the Umar Musa Yar’Adua’s indoor hall, Murtala square, Kaduna.
