The death of the paramount ruler of Bachama Kingdom, Homun Honest Stephen Irmiya in Adamawa state has been described as a great loss not only to his immediate family or Bwatiye nation but the entire humanity.
Leader of the reformed Peoples Democratic Party (rPDP) in the state,Umar Ardo made the description in a condolence letter signed on behalf of his teeming membership, stressing that the late majesty lived a life of service to mankind.
“His majesty was a great Nigerian patriot who served this great country deligently and meritoriously as a gentleman military officer and as the Homun Bachama Kingdom.
“He no doubt left indelible marks both in the military and the Nigerian traditional institution.
“He died at a time when his services are most needed. No words can express our sense of loss. We all simply lost a rare gem. May God Almighty repose his soul and grant his immediate family, the people of Bachama Kingdom and the government and people of Adamawa state the fortitude to bear this irreparable and irreplaceable loss.
Similarly the first class Emirs and Chiefs in the state have condoled the deputy governor,chief Crowther Seth and the entire Bachama Kingdom over his majesty death.
The Emirs includes ; Hama Batta,Amna Shelleng,Kwandi Nuguraya ,Acting Murum Mbula and Gangwari Ganye,Alhaji Umaru Adamu Sanda.
