The former chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Hon. Abubakar Jibrin Giri, has urged the executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to deem it necessary to work harmoniously with the supporters/members of the party from the wards to the Area Council level for the sake of 2019 general elections in the area.
Giri said this while addressing the APC officials/supporters at the party secretariat when the chairman of APC in the FCT, Alhaji Abdulmaliki Ahmed Usman, paid a solidarity visit to Gwagwalada for his re-election.
He also charged the party officials to carry their members along at their respective wards of the Area Council.
He further pleaded with the party executives to establish good relationship with their supporters in order to move APC to the next level in the area.
He called on the executives, as well as the supporters to continue to be law-abiding citizens of APC in all ramifications.
Giri, who is the chairman of the FCT Scholarship Board, expressed confidence that he would soon regain his position as the chairman of the Area Council whenever the Appeal Tribunal passes the judgment.
