A group, Waziri Foundation yesterday offered free medical services to over 1,000 patients around Zaria communities.
Speaking at the medical outreach, the founder of the Foundation, Dr. Ali Dahiru Waziri said, the gesture was in line with the Foundation’s programmes aimed at touching the lives of less privileged people in the society.
He said, the areas they are most concerned is giving special Sickle Cell Clinic, Free Medical Consultation, Free Genotype testing and free treatment.
According to Dr. Waziri, the Foundation is not only working on medical issues, but there are areas they are working on such as education and skills acquisition for youth and widows.
He said, the Foundation is facing serious financial shortage which an urgent support from individual, corporate organizations and the government to enable it’s deliver its mission.
The exercise was conducted at Bello Aliyu LGEA Kofar DOKA, Zaria and has attended to various patients with different medical problems.
Dr. Ali Waziri advised parents to always visit hospital for any medical issue instead of staying at home dying in silent.
Some the beneficiaries of the free medical services including , Malama Hussaina Mustapha thanked the Foundation for the assistance given to them.
