Group debunks allegation of anti-party activities by Nasarawa Senate aspirant

The campaign organization of Alhaji Bala Zakari Adamu has debunked allegations of anti-party activities leveled against the aspirant seeking to contest the Nasarawa south senatorial seat on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In a press statement issued to newsmen yesterday, chairman of the group, Mallam Magaji Samke, Wallin Keana, said that it has come to the notice of Santali campaign organization of the campaign of calumny going round within the party in respect of the candidature of Alhaji Bala Zakari Adamu who is seeking to contest the senate seat in Nasarawa south senatorial district as according to the statement, “this callous rumour of his linkage with another political party is indeed unfounded and very embarrassing”.

The statement further reads: “We have deemed it necessary to respond because rumours if allowed to persist uncontrollably will tend to bring wrong signals to common brains. It is very clear that the candidature of Alhaji Bala Zakari Adamu is a clarion call to bring back the lost glory of our party PDP whose fortunes had dwindled drastically”.

According to the statement, to put these records straight, Alhaji Bala Zakari adamu, Santali Lafia has contributed immensely to the growth and development of the party in the state particularly southern senatorial district.

Highlighting some of his contributions to the party to include: construction and donation of PDP party office in Adogi Lafia Local Government, renting/furnishing of PDP secretariat in Obi Local Government, donation of generating sets to Doma, Awe and Lafia offices as well as funding/contributions towards the election of some present serving PDP in the State House of Assembly and federal legislators.
