The Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong has commissioned 80 units of Ford Galaxy vehicles procured by Plateau State government in partnership with National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Plateau State Council.
The event which held at the Plateau State Vehicle Inspection Officers (VIO) testing ground, Old Airport road, was graced by a mammoth crowd and dignitaries.
Governor Lalong, in his remark at the occasion said “it is with earnest joy and sense of fulfillment that I address you today as we commission the 80 units of vehicles procured through partnership between Plateau State government and the NURTW, plateau state chapter.”
He stated that “this landmark event speak volumes of our determination to boost transportation in the state, which is undoubtedly the backbone of economic activities and a great facilitator of business and human interactions”.
Lalong enjoined the beneficiaries to imbibe maintenance culture as his administration stay more determined to offer much more in upgrading transportation facilities in the state and even beyond.
