Gov. Buni pledges support for Yobe SWAN

Yobe state government assured to promote sporting activities in the state.
The special adviser to Governor Mai Mala Buni on youths and sports, Alhaji Gamcho Tela stated this yesterday while receiving team of sport writers association of Nigeria Swan Yobe state council in his office in damaturu.
He assured that the state government under the purposeful leadership of governor Mai mala Buni is ever ready to support youths in the task pointing out that youths are the backbone of any meaningful development, adding that the commissioner ministry of youths sport and social development is a sport lover who is willing to help talented youths to explore.
Earlier speaking chairman of sport writers association of Nigeria Swan Yobe state charpter comrade Ahmad KAGANA Amshi said they were at his office to congratulate him on his appointment and to seek for his support to promote sporting activities in the state.
He told the adviser that the visit is in connection with the fast approaching national sports festival in Edo state and the state SWAN is ready for Edo 2020 national sport festival to keep Yobe people in touch with the event.
Also speaking zonal duputy president Mr Zakari Jibo said the national sports festival is an annual sport festival that brings all the 36 state together.
He further said Yobe Contingent will represent the state in hockey, handball, Basketball, volleyball among other sport circle.
In his contribution secretary sport writers association of Nigeria Swan Yobe state charpter Joel duku appealed to the state government to provide utility bus to the union to carry out the assignment effectively in the task of promoting sporting activities in the state.
LOther members of the Associotion who paid a visit to the advicer are Abubakar S Fada, Yunusa Adamu, Yusuf Bukar Biriri, Uche u Uche.
