Kebbi State Governor, Senator Atiku Bagudu has attributed his last four years achievements to the support of the traditional rulers in the state.
He stated this yesterday while receiving the four emirs with their subjects to Government House Brinin Kebbi for sallah visit adding that his achievements was based on the advised received from the traditional rulers in the state.
He explained further that the traditional rulers have a vital role to play in the society as they are our fathers and we must respect them and ensure peaceful atmosphere in the state.
“They make my administration succeeded in my four years administration, am thankful for that,” he said.
He added that over N1billion loan has been secured and earmarked for the Fulani breeders and fishermen in the state adding that the loan will help in reducing unemployed youths and support the people in their businesses.
In his remark, the Emir of Gwandu and the Chairman of the Traditional Rulers in State Eliyasu Bashir thanked the governor for his efforts in making the state peaceful and improved agricultural sectors.
“Your anchor borrowers program has made a significant change in the state and Nigeria as a whole. It has also reduced the high rate of unemployment,” he added.
