As President Goodluck Jonathan takes his campaign train to Kwara state today, Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed and former Governor Bukola Saraki have challenged him to point to any federal project he had commissioned in the state in the past six years.

The two leaders therefore urged the people of the state, especially youths not to be deceived by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)’s Chieftains sweet talks.

Ahmed and Saraki spoke in Ilorin, the state capital yesterday during a campaign rally in Iponrin, Ilorin East local government area.

Saraki, who is the leader of All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, therefore urged the youths to cast their votes for all the APC candidates at all levels.

Saraki said: “I urge you all to vote for General Muhammad Buhari (rtd) at the presidential polls. He will not embezzle our funds.

“The retired general will bail us out of our current endemic corruption, insecurity and economic woes.

“All these are the problems we saw coming then that made us call it quit with the sinking PDP. PDP’s engine has knocked down.

“Buhari is the only president if elected that can retrieved our stolen funds for the creation of jobs for the country’s unemployed youths.”

Saraki said President Jonathan government has failed Nigerians in all ramifications.

“Currently, judiciary and health workers are on strike on reasons that border on non fulfilment of agreement.

“Many of the federal civil servants are yet to receive their salaries. Also many states of the federation are yet to pay their workers salaries due to dwindling revenue allocations,” Senator Saraki said.
