Gombe: Voters laud smart card reader operations in Nafada

Following governorship elections conducting by the Independent National Electoral commission (INEC) voters in Nafada who came out enmass to ensure their votes count appreciated the operation of smart card reader which they said the smart card reader has encouraged voters discharge their civic responsibilities.
In an interview with some voters in Madaki polling unit 001 one of the voters Aisha Mohammed Jibrin who did not hide her feeling told reporters that she was over whelmed with the conduct of the election where people came out in their number elect candidates of their choice.
Aisha who said she is 18 years old and it is her first time to vote lauded the outcome of the election organized by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
She explained that women in the area came out to elect candidates of their choice unlike during the Presidential elections that took place last two weeks.
According to her, iam impressed for finding myself among voters and that she have voted the candidate of her choice.
Speaking earlier one of the observer Abubakar confirmed that operation of smart card reader was successful even as he said voting took place without problems.
He appreciated with the Independent National Electoral Commission for making it possible for the electorates to cast their votes without hindrance.
