Gombe: NSCDC cooperative society lays foundation of 302 housing unit

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Cooperative Society in Gombe state said the society has laid foundation of 302 a housing unit to enhance its members.
State Commandant of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Altine Sani Umar who was represented by Assistant Commandant Mu’azu Mohammed made this known yesterday in Gombe during the foundation laying ceremony of the 302 cooperative housing estate phase1.
He said the foundation laying of the housing estate will not only benefit members but will equally benefit the public through its facilities in the area.
According to him, the NSCDC cooperative society which is known and effective tool in the command through youth empowerment has engaged in purchasing of tricycles, Keke NAPEP for their younger ones who are now employed.
Also speaking, Director-General of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Abdullahi Muhammadu Gana who was represented by his deputy administration Ahmed Mohammed Jega appreciated the effort carried out by the Gombe NSCDC cooperative society for foundation laying of 302 housing unit to support its members.
He said efforts made by the society cannot not be over emphasized, appealed to the state government not to hesitate in giving the command moral support.
Also speaking, Gombe state Governor Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo who was represented by the deputy Mr. Charles Iliya thanked the command and the cooperative society for their initiative of providing blueprint in order to build housing estate for its members.
While commending their effort, the governor promised that his administration will continue to have a cordial relationship with the command.
