Gombe Lawmaker donates empowerment items, cash grants to beneficiaries

Member Representing Akko federal constituency in House of Representatives Hon. Usman Bello Kumo has empowered women and youths in his constituency.
The lawmaker who donated items at the weekend in his constituency in Akko said he donated 120 motorcycles, 150 sewing machines, 50 generators and cash of N8millon to 400 beneficiaries.
He said the donation was aimed at empowering people of his constituency inorder to have sense of belonging in the society.
According him his representation at the lower chamber is to ensure that people of the constituency represented well and promised more if chance is giving to him.
He appealed to the public not to hesitate to support the present administration to succeed in its programmes.
Speaking at the event, the Deputy speaker of the House of Representatives Rt Hon. Ahmed Idris Wase described Hon. Usman Bello Kumo as man with vision who always put his people first in anything he does. He called people of the constituency to as much as possible to support the lawmaker to succeed.
He thanked the traditional rulers at the constituency for their courage choice the lawmaker to represent them at the lower chamber in House of Assembly.
While thanking them for their initiative he announced a donation of N2.5 million that will given to traditional rulers in the constituency.
In his remarks Gombe state governor Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya appreciated the lawmaker for his foresight to empowered both women and youths in his constituency saying the donation was not only to touch the lives of the people but they will be self-reliance.
He promised that his administration is committed to carry everyone alone with a view of necessary backing if needs arises.
This government is working tirelessly to ensure that everyone benefit the dividend of democracy and have sense of belonging in the society he said.
Governor Yahaya while appealing to the people called on them to support the government as new thing is about to happen.
