Gombe state government has stressed its commitment to train civil servants on productivity in order to enhance their performance in the civil service.
The state Commissioner of Economic Planning, Alhaji Danladi Mohammed Pantami stated this yesterday in Gombe while declaring a 5- Day
Result Based Management training for planners and statisticians, saying also that the aim of the programme was to straighten capacity of civil servants across the state.
The commissioner who was represented by the Permanent Secretary in the
ministry, Alhaji Aliyu Bappah, said the training programme is part of the activities capture, in the government, where workers are billed to be trained.
Speaking further, the commissioner said government has made part payment of its cost sharing contribution of N44.6Million to facilitate its delivery programme.
He revealed that the training programme is the beginning of the ministry’s follow up frame work in order to develop monitoring evaluation as well as deployment of ICT equipment to facilitate work delivery, and enjoined participants to impact positively on their performance during the programme.
