A group of PDP youth in Adamawa State, have urged former Acting Governor, Alhaji Ahmadu Fintiri to give peace a chance by stopping his plan to challenge the ruling of the Abuja High Court that removed him from office in favor of Barr Bala James Ngilari.
The group spokesman, Buba Ibrahim, said Fintiri as a party man needed to respect the party’s decision where PDP said the party would not go to court over the matter since Ngilari is also a PDP member.
Ibrahim said as leader of the legislative arm, Fintiri needed to appreciate the situation in Adamawa and work towards ensuring peace and order by not over heating the system.
Ibrahim noted that now that the 90 days constitutionally approved for the acting governor to oversee the affairs of the state was over said if Fintiri felt interested in governorship seat of the state, the best thing to do was to obtain the governorship nomination form for the 2015 election.
