No fewer than 1,539 students were said to have been matriculated into different field of studies at the Federal University Kashere.
Vice-chancellor of the university Prof. Alhassan Mohammed Gani made this known yesterday at Kashere while matriculating the students.
He said the matriculating students comprises 1127 males and 412 females in the following faculties that includes faculty of Agriculture that has 64 students, Education 540, Humanities, Management and Social Science 730, and faculty of Sciences 205,
While congratulating the lucky ones who were selected among million other Nigerians who applied for Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) the vice-chancellor urged them to take their studies seriously so that they can succeed.
He said students should play according to rules and regulations that guide their conduct in the university, adding that proper channel of communication and complaints should be their major priority where all level of complaints to be guided through coordinators.
According to him, no any form will deter the university from being focus despite some challenges now we are facing Federal University Kashere since in its inception remained peaceful and committed to excellence in academic pursuit he said.
He advice the matriculating students to avoid social vices and be law abiding and promised that Management of the university is maintaining its position on given automatic employment to those with first class degree.
