“You see from September 2017 to September 2018, we are able to reduce the road fatality to 71 percent and the serious crashes to 49.5 percent , the minor crashes to 54.7 per cent, while In this year, we are able to reduce the fatality to 78.4 percent,” he added.
He said with this it shows that the command has done well in terms of road crashes and fatalities in the state, adding that the command would establish 42 road safety clubs in the 21 local government areas in order to effectively enlighten the motorists on the road safety, and rules and regulations.
“The aim of the clubs is also to serve as pilot model road safety clubs in the state,” he added.
