About five pilgrims were said to have lost their lives in a ghastly motor accident, while eight were injured along Al-laith- Makkah road on their way to Makkah to perform Hajj on Tuesday night, a local paper,Arab news reported. It was gathered that the victims were rushed to king Abdul’azeez Hospital in Jeddah including the bodies. The Saudi Red Crescent took the bodies and the injured to King Abdul Aziz Hospital in Jeddah and that Some of the injured sustained deep wounds. All the pilgrims, including two women, were reportedly not carrying Hajj permits. The accident took place while the driver was taking them through a desert road to evade the police. The victims were identified as Sudanese and Eritrean nationals. In another development Saudi Arabian police have arrested 482 violators of hajj labour and residency regulations
