The International Swimming Federation (FINA) level two intermediate coaching clinics for swimming coaches in Nigeria has ended in Lagos with the message to the participants to avail their wards with the current techniques in the sport. The clinics which held between August 18 and August 23 at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Lagos had 29 coaches and some swimmers in attendance. Thecla Opara in a chat with our correspondent in Abuja said the resource person; Mr. James Richard from United Kingdom lectured the coaches on different skills in swimming. Opara added that the coaches were taught different strokes in swimming to help update their knowledge and to acquire raw skills and techniques in swimming. According to her, certificates were awarded to the coaches at the end of the 5-day event.
