The Village Head of Filindabo community, Dei-dei in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) of the Federal Capital Territory, Mallam Mohammed Danyibe, has called on the AMAC Chairman, Hon. Micah Y. Jiba to sink boreholes, to put an end to the lingering water problem facing the entire residents of Dei-Dei , especially during the dry season.
Danyibe, who made the call in an interview with Peoples Daily in his palace in Dei-Dei , pointed out that the whole Dei-Dei village was being neglected in terms of social amenities, by the government of the day.
Further calling on the present leadership of the Area Council to gear up towards providing facilities to a lot neglected villages in AMAC, the community head also urged the chairman to take traditional rulers along in the affairs of the government.
However, the village head said he would continue to co-operate with the administration of AMAC for overall development of the area.
He added that efforts would be intensified to mobilize the people of his community to support government’s policies and programmes whenever the need arises.
