The Federal Polytechnic Bida Alumni Association has assured the institution of its support for massive infrastructural and human development with a sustainable cordial working relationship with the school management for desire results.
The Alumni President, Dr Henry Koce Diko gave the assurance at the in an interview in Minna Haske Hotel after constituting a care taker committee of Niger state chapter to pilot its affairs for the next one year before conducting election for a substantive Exco.
Dr Koce Diko explained that there is the need to have a functional Alumni of the polytechnic in all the states of the federation were more members would be registered so as to have authentic register in other to give back to the institution hence have members across the country.
He said that his team has achieved a lot despite challenges, noted that some of the achievements includes; ability to organize the 40th Founders Day, Alumni office, its website and acquired land for the association’s headquarters in Abuja as well as its architectural design and bill of quantity to the sum of N60 million.
He added that the Alumni has a functional constitution now and had registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), employed administrative secretary and organized two national delegate meetings and created state chapters among others.
Those officially constituted to pilot the affairs of the Niger State chapter for the next one year were Dr Yahaya Saidu Madaki as
(Chairman), Abdulkadir Abdullahi Yahaya (Secretary), Hajara Suleiman, Ahmed A. Ahmed and Mohammed Ibrahim Bala as members.
In his acceptance remarks, Dr Yahaya Saidu Madaki who appreciated the mandate given to him to serve, assured to justify the confidence reposed on him.
The new Secretary, Abdulkadir Abdullahi Yahaya assured to contribute their quarter for the success and development of almamata in an atmosphere of peaceful coexistence.
