FCT RTEAN celebrates victory at court, says association is one

The leadership of Road Transport Employers’ Association of Nigeria (RTEAN), FCT Chapter has celebrated victory as the National President of the association, Alhaji Musa Muhammed was declared as the winner at the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, saying that RTEAN is one throughout the country.
Speaking at the occasion, the state chairman of RTEAN in the FCT, Alhaji Musa Saidu Zuba, said the executive members of the association as well as the well-wishers gathered to rejoice with them in Zuba on Saturday due to the association’s victory at the court/inauguration of the FCT RTEAN executives recently in Abuja.
Saidu Zuba said that his leadership would continue to jloin hands with the National Executive Council (NEC) to move the association to a greater height.
He urged the entire members to work tirelessly towards the progress of the association, asking them to always obey the laid down rules and regulations guiding the association.
The FCT State RTEAN Chairman, however, told the crowd that the RTEAN has no faction in Nigeria, that RTEAN was established in 1976.
Also speaking, the FCT State Deputy Chairman (operations) of RTEAN, Comrade Dada Killian, disclosed that RTEAN was the founding father of the transportation in Nigeria.
He advised the members of RTEAN to be of good conduct anywhere they found themselves, and warned them against touting.
Killian called on the Abuja residents to join the RTEAN in order to contribute their quota to the development of the association.
The ceremony was attended by the officials of RTEAN in the FCT, APC members as well as the National Secretary-General of RTEAN, Comrade Henry Ejiofor Ugwu.
