To ensure easy access of humans, goods and services to and from the Kado International Fish Market, Kado/Life Camp under the Abuja Municipal Area Council(AMAC), the Chief of the Community, Ezu Danladi has called on the Satellite Town Development Department to dualize the main road leading to the market.
The traditional ruler made the call yesterday while speaking with reporters in his house, at Kado/Life Camp, pointing out that although the emergence of international fish market in his community has brought several financial fortune to the people there, the Department of Satellite Development should take urgent steps to ensuring that the road is expanded.
“This fish market is international in scope and so, many fish dealers far and near are always coming here for one business transaction or the other,hence the need for more expansion along the main road leading to the market”. He explained.
Earlier, the monarch had informed newsmen of letters he personally wrote, signed and sent to the coordinator, Satellite Town Development Department, Honourable ishaku Tanko Yamawo, whom he described as ‘a true son of the soil.”
Chief Danladi who refused to compare and contrast, different in leadership style of PDP and APC regarding provision of democracy dividend to the people and his community said “ People and government differ in what they may set as priority” disclosing that his community is yet to feel positive impacts of AMAC leadership.
The traditional ruler also used the opportunity to advise his subjects to always remain peaceful and law abiding as there is no alternative to peace.
