FCT minister urged to establish suya depot in Abuja
The chairman of Suya Sellers Association in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Alhaji Musa Suleman, has appealed to the minister of the FCT, Senator Bala Mohammed, to establish a suya (beef) deport in the Territory, where suya sellers across the six area councils will freely carryout their activities.
Suleman, who made the appeal in an interview with Peoples Daily in Dei-Dei, equally urged the minister to carry the Association and its members along in the scheme of things.
Also, Suleman pleaded with the chairmen of the six FCT area councils to provide an enabling environment for suya (beef) sellers to operate successfully in the areas.
He said that the leadership of the association would continue to be loyal to the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) for the territory.
He called on the chairmen of suya sellers in each of the FCT area council to respect constituted authorities, for the overall development of the association and the nation’s capital at large.
According to him, suyer sellers and other beef dealers, irrespective of their pressure group’s affiliations should deem it necessary to clean their environment always where they are transacting business.
