In a Communiqué signed by the Association’s Vice Chairman, Patrick Ngwaogu, a second tier League was also created to be known as the FCT DIVISION 1 LEAGUE with two teams gaining promotion to the Elite division at the end of every season with the same two teams relegated from the Elite League.
