FCT: Be tolerant, District Head advises new Village Head

The District Head (DH) of Karmo Sabo, Abuja, Alhaji Yunusa Ashama Karmo has advised the newly turbanned Village Head (VH) of the community, Mallam Umar Sarki Karmo to be tolerant in ruling the indigenes and residents of the community.
The community had on August the 2nd, 2019 turbnaned Mallam Umar Gani Sarki Karmo as a new village head to replace its former village head, Alh Suleiman Adoga who died on July the 29th, 2019
Speaking to journalists in his palace shortly after the turbanning ceremony in the Village Square of the ancient community, the DH didn’t only advise him to be tolerant to the people, but also to involve God, be patient, put himself in the shoes of the other people, have listening ear, carry all along by seeking for their opinion in whatever he wants to do.
He also called on the community members to give him maximum cooperation, remain united and plan toward moving the community and the country forward, adding that the ruler can’t do it all alone without the cooperation of the ruled. He however hailed the residents of the community for peaceful coexistence and cooperation.
Addressing journalists in his palace, the newly turbanned Village Head (VH) promised to involve God in performance of his traditional duties, which he said was the magic behind the success of his predecessor. He appealed to the indigenes and residents of the community to extend ro him the hands of cooperation they gave his predecessor, to enable the community members achieve common goal of unity, peace, love and progress.
The VH, however, spoke at length on the need to continue to promote peaceful cohabitation in the ancient community, seek the face of God in everything, which if done, according to him, would go a long way.
