From Suleiman Idris, Lagos
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola yesterday described the death of former Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Malam Nasir El- Rufai son, Hamza, as a painful one especially when viewed against the background that he was a young man with a promising future.
In a condolence message, made available to journalists, he said the chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) son the died at a time when he was poised to contribute his quota to the development of his fatherland after concluding his education.
Fashola said it was, to say the least, very saddening and regrettable.
While praying for the repose of the soul of the departed, the Governor urged Malam ElRufa’i to take solace in the words of the Holy Book that Allah is the one who gives and takes away.
Governor Fashola also prayed that the Almighty Allah would grant Mallam El-Rufa’i and his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
