The acting governor in the state, Barrister Ibrahim Hassan Hadejia made the accusation while briefing news men in Dutse, the state capital.
Barrister Hadejia who described Jigawa as the most peaceful state in the country said it’s totally wrong to relate what is happening in Zamfara with two arm robbery incidence that occurred in Jigawa.
“Is a shame for the lawmaker just because of political differences to relate the Zamfara arm bandits with arm robbery attack that happened in Jigawa, this can jeopardise the peace the people are enjoying in the state,” he said.
The acting governor also dispelled the allegation made by Zoro that, the state governor allocated over 20, 000 hectares of land for himself at Gagarawa area.
He explained that, the total hectares allocated to Lee Group for the sugar cane company project is 12,000 hectares and is allocated for this projects not for Governor Badaru.
According him, the state government paid compensation to about 8,000 people whom were settlers and own lands in the area with addition of conditions made between state government and Lee Group on the project.
Barrister Hadeja maintained that, some of the conditions include allocating one third of the land to the owners to cultivate sugar cane and sell it to the company.
While reacting to the lawmaker’s accusation against Lee Group, that the company imported inmates from China to work in the area, he said the China Embassy will protest against the allegation before the court.
