The Founder of The Sage School, Emem Opashi has called for more investment in early year’s education in Nigeria.
She made this call during an Instragram live show themed: Go Borderless with the Sage School early years Educator Portals in Abuja.
According to her, there is need for the government to understand the importance of investing more in early year’s education in order to do what they are doing in a larger way.
She charged the public sector to work with experts in leveraging with the research work and lot more on what the private sector is doing to enhance and development the early years education.
Opashi explained that getting it right with early child education is getting a lot of thing right in the society.
Also, the Co-Founder of The Sage School, Eno Simon reiterated that there should be deliberate and sustained investment by governments at all levels in the early child education.
Simon said that children’s talent and skill would be discovered through the early year’s education, adding that this can help in the betterment of the society.
She stressed that if attention is paid to early child education, the world would be a better place .
