From Yakubu Mustapha, Minna.

The Youth Lead Nigeria Movement, a group comprising Niger state youths has given the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC, and GENCOs a four weeks ultimatum to vacate the state or find a lasting solution to the lingering epileptic power supply.
Failure to do this, the group said it would occupy the two organizations.
The Youth Coordinator, Comrade Mohammed Saidu Etsu handed down the warning in Minna at a press briefing yesterday, saying that they are determined to have power supply and lack of it would be counterproductive.
Etsu emphasized that lack of power would now resulted in to continue stay vulnerable to aggression from the communities hence advised them to heed to their calls.
He further urged the stakeholders to hasten the payment of N13 billion grant rent accruing to the communities as revenue to the state government and charged on the federal government to as a matter of urgency ensure the take off of the HYPADEC.
The youth coordinator who led peaceful protest early this year added that the failure to need to this call would lead them to take a legal expedient action to ensure communities get the justice they deserved.
Etsu noted that the problem has generated over a period of time without any action from the AEDC and government of the day hence cannot longer bear with the continues existence without lasting solution.
