The Emir of Bauchi, Alhaji Rilwanu Suleiman Adamu has assured the Globe FM Radio Station in Bauchi of his continued support and cooperation towards achieving its set objectives.
Alhaji Rilwanu Suleimamn Adamu therefore enjoined the management of the radio station to exercise patience, endurance and decorum in dealing with its various audiences across the state and even beyond.
The Emir, who was speaking while receiving the new General Manager of the radio station during homage to his palace, noted that people to a large extent rely on the station against hearsay in conformity with the rapid changing circumstances.
He urged the Globe FM station to disseminate unbiased news and documentaries in order to avoid anything that could jeopardize security and disrupt social order, and to ensure harmonious and peaceful co-existence among the people of the state.
The station’s new General Manager, Alhaji Ya’u Yusuf Nadabo had earlier told the Emir that they were in the palace to seek fatherly advice and to assure the Emir of the station’s resolve to continue to exalt the virtues, norms and tradition of the emirate.
