The Chairman of Yoruba Council of traditional Obas and Chiefs in the 19 Northern States and Abuja, Ambassador Muhammad Arigbabuwo has urged Muslim faithful in Nigeria to celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir on a low key due to the existing government protocols on COVID-19.
He stated this in his Goodwill massages to Muslims on this year celebration.
The Royal Father added that the COVID-19 pandemic was still at an aggressive stage and all the safety measures should be adhered to during the celebration.
Ambassador Muhammad Arigbabuwo reassured all Nigerians that the COVID-19 Pendemic siege would soon be over as the faithful seek Allah’s intervention.
He felicitated with the Sultan of Sokoto,Dr.Sa’ad Abubakar 111 , the Emir of Zazzau Dr Shehu Idris and the Emir of Ilorin Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari on the celebration .
He advised Muslims faithfull to observe the Eid El-Kabir prayers in line with advisories from the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, NSCIA and the Presidential Task Force, PTF on COVID-19.
