Emir of Dutse,DrNuhu Muhammad Sunusi has adviced President Muhammad Buhari not surrender or relent on his dogged fight against corruption, describing corruption as the biggest evil hindering the development of Nigeria and Africa.
The emir give the advice when the president visited his palace as part of his two- day presidential visit to Jigawa state.
Emir Sunsu stated that, the fight against corruption, terrorism, drug abuse and economic recovery which are the hallmark of President Buhari government are re-kindling hope for establishment of prosperous and strong Nigeria.
According to the emir, fighting against corruption is always coming with enormous challenges, , “certainly corruption and it’s evil associate will resist and tried to fight back with all force, malice, blackmail “ therefore I urged Mr president not surrender or retreat from the war.
The emir also commended President Buhari for executing various projects in the state which includes;Shuwarin- Kano road, railway, and power projects.
During a similar visit by the president to Emir of Hadjia at his palace in the ancient city of Hadejia, Emir DrAbubakarMaje requested the federal government to renovate the Gaya-Kafin Hausa-Azare road which has been in dilapidated condition for over 20 years.
Emir of Hadejia also requested for the establishment of federal government higher Institution of learning as no any of such institution exist in the emirate.
