Disabled chair denies allegations of exco members removal

The chairman Joint National Association of Persons With Disabilities (JONAPWAD) who doubles as the chairman of chairmen Form,Kebbi state chapter, Abdullahi Aliyu Usman has denied the publication that the tenure of the present exco members led by Mrs Ekaeke Judith Umoh has expired and that they should be removed from office.
In a press statement issued to newsmen weekend in Birnin Kebbi, the state chairman of the chairmen forum stated that none of the 36 states chairmen were part of the meeting for the removal of the exco members, adding that some group of people who were not even members forged their signatures and names to deceive the public.
“People should disregard that communique, we are not among them. They should wait until their tenure elapses, people should follow due process by following our constitution,” he said.
He said further that actually the election was conducted on 14-16 of April 2014 in Lokoja, Kogi State, and they were inaugurated on August 2014, by the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, adding that despite that, people should wait and follow due process before they start causing confusion within.
“People’s should please stop bring disunity among the members, we are one and we are not among those that hold the meeting, we want peace and unity” he said.
He then urge the executive member to disregard the report said it was false and baseless, our names and signatures have been forged and we are looking for those people, we equally called our members to remain calm, all effort to scutle the matter is on going and also to bring sanity to the Union.
