Detained 41 IMN teenage members: Court hears case July 2

The case file of unlawful gathering filled before a Chef Magistrate Court in Kaduna, headed by Ibrahim Taiwo has been sent to the Ministry of Justice for legal advice.
The prosecutor DSP Martin Danjuma Leo stated when the case was mentioned before the court yesterday.
According to him, investigation into the case has been concluded and file submitted to Ministry of Justice for further legal advice considering the age of the defendants.
He therefore asked for a date for mention of the case.
However, the counsel to the 41 defendants M B Yusuf said while he is not against the file being taken to the ministry, he wants the court to adjourn the case for hearing and not mentioning because the long delay of the trial is not in the best interest of the minors.
The Chief Magistrate Ibrahim Musa adjourned the matter to the 2nd July for hearing.
The 41 members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, IMN, were arrested in Kaduna by law enforcement agency and charged to court for prosecution.
The suspects aged between 10 years and below said they were returning back from training when they were arrested by police in kabala-west in Kaduna town and detained at CID.
