Former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godsday Orubebe, who now aspire for the Delta State Governorship position on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has unveiled his developmental dreams for the state if elected in 2015.

While assuring that unemployment will become a thing of the past if he is elected Delta State Governor, the governorship aspirant said he would allow constructive criticisms from the opposition if elected.

Orubebe, who made this known when he declared his interest to contest the governorship election in 2015, however disclosed that the regional plan for economic development of the state have been mapped out because he has a dream to make the state to get the status of global standard.

According to him, “I am not an accidental politician, if I could plan Presidents Musa Yar’ Adua and Goodluck Jonathan for a successful Nigeria that we have today, if I could make sacrifices for Nigeria during the military era, and the restive youths laid down arms, what is in Delta State that I cannot plan for?

“Friends, I have a dream for Delta State, I am an agent of change, my dream is to build low cost houses for the workers, less privileged, to marshal out action plans for urban renewal of the state, and we will realize all these with the fear of God”, he added.

While listing out the features of his blue print, Orubebe promised to revive all ailing industries for employment of the people, even as he dismissed all forms of rumors that he had withdrawn from the race.
