Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain in Bauchi, Alhaji Bashir Bukar Rimin Zayam has expressed worries over the defection of PDP members especially the former deputy governor of Plateau State, Dame Pauline Tallen and some other erstwhile members of the PDP.
Bashir, who is also the Bauchi State Publicity Secretary the of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), stated this yesterday while speaking with newsmen in Bauchi.
He said to lose a single supporter is a problem talk less of loosing people as prominent along with their supporters, stressing that it is indeed a source of worry for the chances of the party to win the 2015 February election in Plateau State.
He appealed to the national chairman of the PDP, Ahmadu Muazu and President Good Luck Jonathan to look into these problems and find lasting solution to it to enable the party to win the 2015 General election.
Bashir said he knows the consequences of their defection because they were living in a border with Plateau State.
Pauline Tallen who was Governor Jang’s deputy up to 2011, defected to the Labour Party and sought to be governor that year under the LP.
