The Archdiocese of Kaduna has distributed foodstuff to over 2000 poor people from 24 Communities in the state
The Coordinator of Development and Peace Initiative JDPC, Rev. Fr Joshua Yima Achir disclosed this while speaking to the media in kaduna yesterday.
According to him the items distributed includes,Rice, Guinea Corn, Beans and Maize.
The 24 Communities that benefitted are from Kaduna North, Kaduna South, Chikun and Kagarko Local Government Area of the state.
The Coordinator who made the distribution on behalf of the Archbishop, who is the Board Chairman of the JDPC said the COVID-19 pendemic is a time for the have it to support those who don’t have.
Rev. Fr Joshua Yima Achir advised representatives and JDPC Animators from the various church/communities to ensure that the food items reach the expected beneficiaries
He further stressed the need for the animators to do so with integrity, honesty and fairness to the most needy persons whose names were submitted
The JDPC said it hopes to reach out to more indigent persons in the remaining communities as they look out for support from good spirited people.
