The Acting Registrar of the Environmental Health Officers Registration Council of Nigeria (EHORECON) Dr. Baba Yakubu Mohammed has called for the creation of database for Environmental Health Officers across the country.
Dr. Mohammed stated this when he received the Environmental Health Officers Association of Nigeria (EHOAN),who paid him a congratulatory visit on his recent appointment in Abuja .
He said “the creation of the database for the environmental health officers will give opportunity to everyone to be captured on the database because the council had not captured more than 40% of the practitioners, saying, “this will also be a collective responsibility of every professional to sit down and discuss how some of the people could be brought on board”.

Mohammade further stated that,interfacing among the environmental health officers isA major key to enduring service.
However, he advised the association that on the need of having meetings together should not only be when there is a change in leadership.
The Ag. Registrar however promised that the Council will do its best to make sure their requests are looked into.
Earlier,the EHOAN president, Abuja chapter, Sanitarian Damian Mgbaramuko appealed to the Ag. Registrar of EHORECON to assist the area of office with accommodation, payment of dues by members to enable them move forward.
