The Solidarity Coalition Organisations for Dr Goodluck Ebele Jonathan 2015 (SCODGEJ) recently in Lokoja said it had inaugurated offices in 27 states.
Mr Ilemona Ichaba, National Coordinator of SCODGEJ, announced this during the inauguration of Kogi chapter and executives at Halims Hotel, Lokoja.
Ichaba said the aim of the organisation was to ensure victory of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and President Jonathan in 2015.
He said the remaining eight state chapters would be inaugurated before the end of July.
He described members of the coalition as a people with a common goal, ready to ensure good governance by collaborating with the visionary leadership of Mr President.
“Without political distractions culminating from sentiments, prejudice and biased mind-sets, if we collectively encourage President Goodluck to continue his good job, he will perform better’’, he said.
Ichaba said as part of its campaign strategies, the coalition would render community services to inspire the electorate to vote Mr President for another term.
Mr Steve Ojomaje, the North Central Coordinator of the coalition, urged the executive members to see the assignment as a national one and a call for exhibition of excellence.
Dr Isah Omeji, the Organising and Mobilisation Secretary, on behalf of other members, said it was a rare privilege to be appointed to serve.
He said PDP had made the environment very conducive for the coalition to operate, saying that there were no strong opposition parties to cause distractions. (NAN)
