Christ Evangelical Intercessory Fellowship Ministry, Pastor Yohanna Buru, has decried the increasing cases of divorce and conflicts among married couples in the society.
According to him, such divorce cases led to many broken homes within society.
The cleric disclosed this in a statement he signed, issued to newsmen in Kaduna.
He explained that every week hundreds of couples across the country get married but that the marriages hardly last long because of lack of tolerance, patience, love and care.
Pastor Buru said as a result of this situation thousands of children raised by separated families find themselves in difficult situations with numerous women being forced to become single parents.
“This issue of divorce in our society is worrisome because thousands of our children are in difficulty due to the divorce of their parents. So I think something needs to be done to address the menace in our society.
“Couples need to learn to be patient; they should Love one another and take care of each other as husband and wife. Marriage is supposed to be for better for worse,” he said.
