The Chief Imam of Ansar-Ud-Deen Society in Gwagwalada Area Council branch of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Ustaz Jamal Abioye Bakare, has called on both Muslims and Christians to intensify prayers for the to continue to pray for peace and unity to reign in the Federal Capital Territory and the Country at large.

Ramadan lecture tagged “Ramadan: A Change for Human Freedom and Emancipation” organised by the Society in Gwagwalada, further urged the citizens to be security conscious in anywhere they found themselves.
He pointed out that the motive behind organizing the Ramadan lecture was to impact knowledge on the Muslim faithful, urging the Muslims to use the Ramadan period to seek for forgiveness from the Almighty God.
Earlier, the Gwagwalada branch Chairman of the society, Alhaji Abdul-Rahaman Jimoh, urged Muslims to remain committed to their fasting, advising them to shun any act capable of spoiling their fasting Jimoh, however, appealed to the Muslims to share the little things they have with the less-privileged brothers and sister in the society.
