China committed to cultural dev’t in Nigeria

The Cultural Counsellor, Embassy of the Peoples Republic of China, Mr. Li Xuda said China is committed to the development of cultural diversity in Nigeria.
Xuda made the disclosure while receiving the delegates from National Council for Arts and Culture ( NCAC) who went to Tibet , china for cultural exchange .
He said that China and Nigeria have been partners for years and also shared bilateral relationship. “Nigerians go to China for a lot of cultural programmes and share experiences together and learn from each other and improve both in culture and trade.
“The China’s government is ever ready to explore the various areas of collaboration in terms of cultural exchange, capacity building and many other areas of opportunity”.
The Culture Counsellor also praised Nigeria for its hospitality, kind gesture and beautiful culture.
Consequently, Mr. You Baoming, First Secretary China Cultural Center, said that the Minister of Culture in China has made an agreement with Center of Culture abroad to have exchange programmes on Culture”that is why we had this collaboration with NCAC for the exposition of cultural programme- 2017 was the third (3) exchange programme between Nigeria and China Cultural Center, because it is our duty as a Center to bring more Nigerians in to the programme to learn from China and the Center “.
Boaming maintained that “ China has so many archaeology sites, museums that display their cultural heritage and history , where those delegates learned when they travelled to Tibet for cultural exchange “.
He also said that “ this cultural exchange between this countries have yielded much trade boosting and cultural exchange.
Meanwhile, the Director General NCAC Otunba Runsewe who was represented by the Director Extension services Mrs . Hajara Njibba appreciated the China Cultural Center for the collaboration ,cultural exposition and experience.
