Chief Coach of Lobi Stars, Solomon Ogbeide is dead

Unconfirmed report on Monday, has it that, the chief coach of the Nigeria Professional Football League side, Lobi Stars Football Club of Makurdi, Coach Solomon Ogbeide is dead.
Our correspondent gathered from a reliable source close to the late coach ,that he slumped in the morning and died as a result of low blood pressure he had complained about before his death.
Late coach Ogbeide joined Lobi Stars in 2017 and helped the club to secure CAF ticket after lifting the nation’s league cup in 2017/2018 league season.
He took Lobi Stars to the continental derby but the team was knocked out in the group stage of the CAF Champions League.
Late Ogbeide until his demise, had consistently put the team in good form and they are currently second in Group A in the Nigerian Professional League table with 34 points and only one match left.
Despite his demise, Lobi Stars went on to host Wikki Tourist of Bauchi in their final home match of the season winning 2-1 to contest for super-six ticket from their group.
When contacted to confirm the incident, the vice chairman of the club,Mike Idoko said that he cannot confirm the death of the coach until he established contact with the family and get permission to speak on the matter.
“Once I get confirmation from the family, I will officially issue a statement and make it available to the press but for now, I can’t speak further, Idoko said”.
However, after the match and the news of the demise of late coach Ogbeide filtered into the stadium, players, fans and entire Aper Aku stadium was thrown into a mourning mood.
No player or officials of the club was ready to speak with the press but cross sections of fans were seen gathered discussing why the coach was not on the sideline during the game.
