Chairman of Ansar-ud-Deen Society of Nigeria Kaduna branch, Alhaji Liadi Olapade has urged Muslims and indeed all Nigerians to ensure good neighbourliness, peaceful coexistence and love with other people to address the insecurity ravaging parts of the country.
Alhaji Olapade, who doubles as the Chairman of Muslim Council of Nigeria (MCON) Kaduna branch, also tasked leaders and other Nigerians against hate speeches, rumour mongering, and blackmailing which usually create bad blood, grievances and often lead to crisis.
Addressing the Muslim ummah on the new Islamic year, Hijrah 1442, Olapade said, “everybody should ensure peaceful coexistence, love and good neighbourliness with his neighbours and people around them. We should our best to make the society better.
“We should all desist from spreading rumour, blackmailing people and spreading hate speeches to ensure that we have a peaceful society devoid of rancour and grievances.
“We thank Allah for preserving us until today because the past six months or one year is like no other one, anyone who survive till now should thank God. We should keep praying and rededicate ourselves to the religion. We should know that nothing comes except from Allah He brought this period and He would bring a better period.
“We should pray hard and work hard obey and follow the instructions of our leaders. Muslim faithful and other Nigerians should work hard and contribute.
