Censors Board approves 31 home movies, 20 cinema movies for July

The National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB) has verified and approved a total of 51 movies for the month of July 2018, for public and home viewing.
Of this number, 31 movies are approved and verified for home consumption while 20 movies are for public consumption, that is, cinema exhibition.
The NFVCB advised consumers that the 45 approved movies contains fetish practices, imitable technique, fetish ritual, moderate ritual practices, animated violence, violence, drug use, nudity, and coarse expressions.
The Head, Corporate Affairs Unit of the board, Mr Martins Etuechere advised parents and guardians to ensure that their wards do not have access to movies classified above their ages, adding that the Board is working hard towards removing unclassified and uncensored movies from the market.
The classification rating of the 51 approved movies are as follows; “G” – General viewing indicating for the General Audience, “PG” – Parental Guidance indicating for children with the need of an adult or Parent Guidance, “15” – Indicating for persons 15years and above15, “18” – Indicating for matured audience, “12A” – Indicating for persons under 12years accompanied by an Adult.
Out of the 51 movies approved and verified, 40 are English language movies and they are:
Sent Stones (PG), A Mission (15), Beyond Trust, Hearts Of Mercy (15), Moving On (15), Omenka (15), Spirit Of Music (15), Tailor My Heart (15), A Bag Of Rice (18), April Season 1 (18), April Season 2 (18), Family Enemies (18), Last Confession (18), Masquerade In Court (18), Painful Word (18), Queen of The Sun (18),Quite Storm (18), Royal Scandal (18), The Diamonds (18), The Messenger (18), The Outcast (18), Throne Of Terror (18), True Vision (18), Virtues Of Ignorance (18), Mission Impossible (Fallout) (18), The Darkest Minds (12A), Ant Man And Wasp (12A), The Washerman (15), Klippers (18), Teen Titans Go (G), Skysrapper (15), Hotel Transylvania 3 (G), Fantastic Numbers (15), Tag (15), Equalizer 2 (18) Dead Pool 2 (18), Incredibles 2 (PG) amongst others
Four are Yoruba language movies and they include; Ero (15), Iyawo mi (18), Oore Ojokan (18) and Obun Sengese (18).
Two movies are in Hausa language respectively and they are Matar Uba (15) and Rana Tara (18).
Three movies are in Hindi language, and they are Ohadak (15), Sanju (18), and Race 3 (18). Only one movie is in Bini and it is Owa {15).
