The groups maintained that if the wishes of the majority of Nigerians are ignored, they shall mobilize Nigerians and particularly Benue State people home and abroad to commence civil disobedience.
“In the main time, we are calling on the youth, women and people of Benue State to embark on civil disobedience on any project initiated in the name of Ruga or similar projects in Benue State.
They urged Governor Samuel Ortom and elected representatives in the state to continue to stand firm and do everything within the arm bit of the law to protect the people from elimination and unconstitutional harassment, maltreatment and maladministration from the Federal Government.
The three main socio-cultural organizations further appreciated the support and sympathy extended to the people by the various socio-cultural groups in the middle Belt and all over the country during this difficult time when it seems the Federal Government, acting on the script of Miyetti Allah, have visited untold hardship on the people.
