The Civil Awareness and Economic Empowerment Initiative (CAEI) a nongovernmental organisation (NGO) had between 2012 and 2014 empowered 40,000 Nigerians with various business items.
The empowerment items include tricycles, motorcycles, fertilizer, vulcanizing machines, Laptop computers, irrigation water pumping machines and sewing machines. Other businesses the NGO invested in include frying business items, shoe making items and salon business items with an investment in education by giving out scholarship to students to attend various higher institutions.
In a statement signed by the NGO’s National Chairman, Dr. Gambo Bala lggi, the organisation had penultimate week expanded its tentacles by inaugurating members of its Board of Trustees (BOT) .
The board, sworn in by the NGO’s Director Legal and Business Services, Barr Joseph Nwokocha includes Major General A.A Shuaibu (rtd), Major General Charles Airhimed (rtd), Alhaji Bashir Albasu (rtd AIG), Chief J. Eusen (rtd CP), Major Bilyaminu Musa Muhammad (rtd), Alhaji Ibrahim Garba Gusau, Paul N.Eluhaiwe and Rev. V.A Mamza.
