From Ibrahim Sidi Muh’d, Gusau

Governor Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar of Zamfara state has assured that President Muhammadu Buhari will win the forthcoming Presidential election in the state, as no vote would be missed for any other candidate contesting on the platform of any other opposition party.
Yari, who gave the assurance during a Presidential and gubernatorial campaign flag off ceremony organised by the state chapter of the APC at Kaura Namoda local government area yesterday said, Zamfara will politically remain a Buhari stronghold state.
“The good people of Zamfara state were satisfied with the style of President Muhammadu Buhari leadership, his administration has done a lot in making the state motorable especially across areas that federal roads were in a state of dilapidation.
“The construction and reconstruction of federal roads have no doubt promoted commercial activities in the state, and it was paradise ever for the teeming farmers who could not convey their farm product to any targeted market within and outside the state”, Governor Yari said.
He further said that apart from federal roads, the state government had numerous projects that have direct bearing on the state economy, constructed twenty five kilometer roads at each of the fourteen local government areas of the state.
Speaking, the APC gubernatorial candidate, Alhaji Mukhtar Shehu Idris, promised to positively continue from where the present administration will stop in effort to move the state forward, adding that, “I will continue with the inherited blueprint which contained plans to make the state paradise for investors”.
The candidate called on good people of the state to utilize their votes for all candidates under APC from top to bottom as that could only facilitate the continuation of dividends of democracy in the state and the nation at large.
